Q: What is a concierge?
A: Concierge has a few definitions, but in our context, it's basically a personal assistant. Originally, it was the caretaker of the building and residents of a large property or apartment building, and then later, it was the person at a hotel that ran errands and acted as liason for the guests. While this second definition is still in use, concierge has in its most recent iteration come to mean "a person employed to make arrangements or run errands."*
